[QUOTE=gbrettin;3350811]The Engine Building and F.I. section has to be my favorite sections on this forum. I check in daily to see what is happening on all sorts of builds.
Agreed. I check the engine forum lots just to see what tinkering is going on. I'm also starting to get more into the racing thing but kinda in the mix of suspension also. I'm trying to put it all together and get a better understanding of how to lay the power down. So much and so confusing starting from the bottom up. It's interesting though. Just happens to be a slow learning pace for me since I was never interested in any of that stuff. YzGyz |

Welp, you guys are welcome for me resurrecting your FI thread!
Cockwarmer style. Leave it to the NA guys....well alright, I'd take a used supercharger if a nice one popped up for sale, not a fan of turbos tho.. I'm not one of these new moron millenial new members, just FYI Chuck. And, you're welcome for me making your piss boil. Lol Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk |

Wait. Are we now talking about day drinking spilt cockwarmer piss?
My nickname is dayhawk. It's much more fun being drunk and doing active stuff. Night drinking indoors or at bars has gotten old. Especially since I've been married. Nothing better then drinking in the garage at noon and staring into the engine bay of a z wondering what you can do next.

I'm still on topic... Me likes beer and drinking as the older pic of my bars show.
I already have a REALLY GOOD understanding of drinking and booze. WHOOT WHOOT!! I'm not so versed in FI. Anyhoo, booze and car can be fun, but also dangerous as you can loose stuff or get lost as the drinks kick in. Lucky I usually work on the car in the day and drink when the sun is down. It helps keeps things in order. YzGyz |

So whats next for everyone else currently in the middle of a build ? Right now I'm planning out my RFS setup. Trying to decide if I should tackle that first, or a radiator upgrade first

Booze and an arctic cat wildcat will go great together. I'm picking one up soon.

What is a RFS? As for the Rad upgrade. The CSF with oil cooler is a sure winner in my book! It keeps the car nice and steady at 200 def at the drag after multiple back to back runs. I take it easy and mope my way back to the lineup area and she is ready to go again once I'm up. I don't turn off my engine and push her or anything. I just run in. Yeah, I'm lazy. I suggest getting some T-clamps for the rad hoses when you do it. My OEM ones started to leak on my a short while ago. Now I have to drain the thing just to swap the temp worm screw one I have on there. GRRR
