I'm going to start working on my custom kit the beginning of the year. 2.5" Y it into 3" to the turbo then use a 2.5" charge pipe to the turbo and to the dual throttle-bodies.

I'm looking for a mutli-reading boost controller/gauge, oil pressure gauge, A/F if possible into one unit, besides the CAMP2 system that HKS carries.

Take a look into the aeroforce gauge. It will read afr right off the ecu, and you can get boost and oil pressure kits for it for ~$50-$60

Lets get back on topic.

While I was looking around google to see if I can find what was going on with the370z.com, I found this:

http:// out performance shop . com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=0-2010NissanNismo370zRed3

Remove the space to get to the site. you can see more pictures of the red nismo with the STS turbo kit. It looks like it had smaller rims and new headers installed for the setup. I wonder what numbers would it really put down if it only had the turbo kit installed and with the original 19 inch rims. We all know smaller rims put out bigger numbers.

When i had talked to sts directly, they had advised me against the LTH because i had asked that exact question. I did not know the car had small rims at the time.

The lack of resonators / mufflers / cats is what's making the rasp. It's pretty much a straight pipe, free flowing exhaust.

They make numerous race mufflers... Vibrant, Magnaflow, Dynomax, Aero all make small canister style mufflers you could use. I'm just going to end up using a 16" resonator which will deepen the sound.

Boy, if I ended up with 16", I'd be bragging about going deep too!

I took those pics... the piping isn't as low as it looks in the pictures. It doesnt hang any lower than the FI exhaust. I can guarantee that.

You could put a resonator before the turbo, but any kind of muffler or cat you're risking debris coming loose for some reason and damaging the turbo.
