I've thought about twins but I think it would just add more complexity then I would like, more tubing/oil line ect.

Ya I didn't really think about that... but its a good point... there's definitely enough power with a single turbo and if you can get it to spool up at 3500 I would take that for sure. As fast as this car can red line in first gear it doesn't really matter but after that its cake to never go below 3500.
So any guinea pigs yet? Brazil, I am assuming that your hard at work in your garage right? ready to update? lol I'm very impatient when it comes to this kind of stuff |

It's too bad that they can't do internal lubrication like some of the superchargers have gone to. That would make this kit a breeze. I think turbos just get too hot for that.

Ya, I am with you. I have never done an install but it seems like the routing on the oil lines and **** is a pain in the ***... For the billionth time since I became a member I am going to reference the two guys and a garage sts turbo on youtube. (lol, I may have already done this once in this post, but for those of you who missed it lol.. you should watch) They make it seem so easy, but I'm still kind of worried about the oil flow deal, and what happens if it stops etc Seems like if you know what your doing the fix is simple but I don't know... I saw the link Brazil posted today at work but I didn't have time to get into it. Gonna do that now.

I'd like 500ish WHP.. the 37 is good too 600BHP which comes out to like 518whpish
I had a evo b4 this and I know that the 37 hit full boost around 6k with a 2.0L so I would think that with a 3.7 full boost should hit around 3.2-3.4. Monday I will start calling shops here in town and see if I can get someone to build this for me. Then I will have to go somewhere to get it tuned.

Just catching back up on this thread. So your going with the STS? I'm sooooo on the fence right now but truly can't blow any more cash. Let me know if your doing it, I really hope it goes well as I too want a turbo car but can't drop 15-20k on one of the current systems

no.. just the return is to the oil cap... the feed line requires a fitting that attaches to where your oil pressure sensor attaches to the block. Basically a sort of sandwich plate.... or atleast thats where I attached my oil feed for my Vortech. Im sure you could get a plate for the oil filter area to feed oil to the turbo also..... And I wouldnt run a line up and dump it in the oil cap if I were doing it.... I would just get an oil pan or tap the existing one.....

I've been reading this post and I have always thought this would be the way to go for FI. One thing that I keep reading from you guys is that HEAT is needed to keep the turbos working at optimal performance, why do you think so? Its the speed of the air moving the turbo not the temperature of the air. Maybe better put would be that the exhaust moves the turbo, it doesn't matter how hot the exhaust is.

Has anyone quoted one out yet? I was meaning too but spent my budget on a ton of other mods. Still want to do the turbo thing eventually but I may go Supercharger.
Before I do any major motor mods I want to track it first and see how it behaves. I really don't need a 200 mph car but I would like one that holds its line on the track. I used to build bikes, there comes a point where HP slows down your lap times if you can't keep it tracked. Either way, still like to know if they have a kit in the works for us and if so, how much? Suppose I could call next week if someone hasn't already.

The universal TT kit goes for about $3k. I would suggest you guys call STS. I spoke to them 2 months ago, and I believe the more interest they see in the kit the more likely they will make one. I decided not to do any mods until I here from them. Their turn-key kits go for $5k. I don't wanna waste money on unnecessary mods.
