I have put on about 3000 miles on since I've had the kit installed and only had the one occurance. I am currently looking into a filter relocation kit but I'm not sure if I want to go that route. I am also intalling a water/ meth kit and hoping that might help cool a bit as well.

Were did you add the oil cooler? We installed ours remind behind the intercooler...there is tons of room.

The hottest day I ran it was maybe 84f . No issues I think the hottest it got was around 240, but it was new to me and I was running the hell out of it. Like today it was 55f and took a guy a work with for a ride. Temp never got above 190. That was with several hard boosts from 45 to 140mph ( on a closed track of course. I would never drive that fast on the interstate:tup:)

To be honest I'm unsure. The system was installed when I was out of town but I will see more of it when I get back in town and my new body kit is in.
Hey could you PM me a price on some body kits you sell, like the VIS version of the AMS.

This is unofficial number because for some odd reason the highest numbers we got it didn't read the torque (loose test cable or something) 443hp @ 8psi trq unknown 403.43hp @ 5psi 348.62 trq

The oil cooler wasnt the problem when I put the sandwich plate on for the oil lines at the filter there wasn't enough room to get the filter on due to the intake pipe running in the same area its a matter of about a half inch

Which oil cooler did you go with, I have one I got through stillen maybe the plate at the filter is a bit thinner on yours because the filter is very close to going on.

Jamaica 01-04-2012 09:42 PM

we went with the stillen oil cooler also. Fits better.

Did the filter go on before the intake pipe was installed? Because it is so close it just doesn't go over the threads, I could always cut the pipe right at that area and add a coupler I guess.

How would HFCS affect a sts setup?

hfc's are fine to run on the setup but TP's would make me sleep better at night in case a cat decided to break apart it would probaly destroy the turbo.

Haha... the "not a problem" phrase when selling products...

Expect your cats to burn out and become test pipes.
