The simple truth of the matter is, if an insurance company is going to insure your modifications they are going to need to be able to approximate the value of what they're insuring and set/adjust the rates accordingly. There is absolutely no way any professional underwriting company would say this is your premium for your modified car whether you have $300 worth of modifications or $300,000. Period.

lol your funny. Mis information? do your research which you havent done. I have my policy and knows what it includes. My company adds the coverage at no charge based on my driving record. My rates werent adjusted but decreased from the last two years. Each car insurance provider provides different polices based on your driving record. so you can continue to say so they dont cover it and whatnot. I provide them with recipts on what items are added on the car and its insured. Simple as that. A few members on this forum have this insurance also. If people want to have there aftermarker parts covered simply call your insurance company and ask what type of coverage they offer.

btw call sts turbo and ask for a install manual. I got one for the 350z

StillenZ 11-17-2010 07:58 PM

wow...lol. I'm going off topic because I just don't really care..sorry. Jamaica, you are smoking rocks. Need to get your mind right. You sound so ignorant with the comments you are making. You're telling people to do their own research, but dude, you are the one that needs to research.

I feel bad for the people on here that don't know any better and have to read your crap. You're so convincing because you believe the crap coming out of your mouth lol.

Unless you are paying some kind of additional premium, the things you are talking about WILL NOT be covered. It's so sad how you truly feel the ones opposing you are wrong...kinda feel sorry for you. Hope you don't speak with so much confidence about such topics in "real life" conversation

blahhhh stay on topic..for everyone =]

I had 4-5x more money "invested" into my f*cking Galant than your 370Z. You're coming off as quite haughty insinuating you're the only one here who knows about insuring a car with a ton of aftermarket mods.

I'm tired of opening this thread and seeing this banter instead of STS discussion. I really hope and owner of this kit posts up some good videos - the sound of the 350Z STS setup is literally the only reason I'd choose it over an in-bay single turbo setup. It's freaking intoxicating. :excited:

so over 30k+ you put in your galant. Damn made probs for that. plus u dont know how much money I have invested z. Plus doesnt matter how much cuz in the end your never going to see that money back. If im wrong im wrong. so if im wrong prove me wrong.

but in the end sts turbo had issues. I talk to andrew at STS turbo and they have 5 current orders in the process. Also stated that they are retuning the kit

209Z 11-17-2010 09:20 PM

what type of issues?

Jamaica 11-17-2010 09:32 PM

they are having tuning issues with there current tuner. He also stated that they are tuning it to run at 8 psi to run 480to the wheels. I asked him about the piping because the piping looks pretty low...but does it look lower then the fast intention or any other exhaust?

lol this turned into quite a funny thread...i really hope this thread gets back on track..i am looking really forward to this being mainstream considering i dont want to spend 11k installed gtm turbo kit..this 'can' be a nice alternative..only thing i dont like, with the pic above, seems the setup sits pretty low

rAiN 11-17-2010 10:24 PM
