I understand the morality behind them selling kits that are already mostly paid for by members of the group buy, but everyone has to also understand how business works. If a company like GTM goes under and another investor company like GAMMA comes along and picks up whatever product there actually was and then looks at the whole list of people that Sam screwed over, They have to charge something on the kits, otherwise they are giving out free kits to people that bought product that was never produced in the first place, and now are giving out their product in replacement of Sam's idiocy. (remember knowing Sam I guarantee he didn't have much product to sell in that time for the group buy, honestly that whole group buy was a scam besides the couple kits that have gone out because some one has bled it out of Sam)

That would bankrupt the company faster than Sam went bankrupt. They are immorally taking the product but its not like they are not offering it. In theory yes it would be great for every single person from the group buy gets their kit with a bow on it at their front door, BUT in reality it doesn't work that way in a scam run by a different company. Yes these people in the group buy put their hard earned money into the product and should received their product from GTM, that's why if you have a problem with the morality of the situation its best to get your product from the person who owes it to you (Sam), either that or a refund through the Lawsuit. I'm not at all disagreeing with everyone getting their money or parts, but you can't expect the new company that just invested in the parts to just hand those out .

Wouldn't it be much easier to pay 2k more than to sit in a line of lawsuits against Sam?; hoping he doesn't declare bankruptcy and then everyone in the group buy is screwed
I know this is easier said than done, and understand that supporting one another as a community is why we are all here and I do support that I am just a realist and look at things straight on. I know the 2k isn't fair to the people that already "paid in full" but remember your "paid in full" was part of a group order at a discounted price by GTM. not Gamma Motors.
The fact of wanting another 2k is the price to actually have a kit paid in full. From my knowledge a full TT kit by itself at a retail value with no add-ons is about 10k. I remember from the other thread I saw a lot of I paid 7k, 8k, 8.5k down on the kit. Well technically from a single kit stand point vrs a group buy (that gamma motors did not authorize) the avg 2k is about right on the amount owed on the kits.

if you are not to sure about ordering from GAMMA motors than wait for a shop to order the kit for you and get it and then pay your shop once they get it.


Work a deal with Gamma Motors or Get in line in the lawsuits

Expecting the guys to pay 2K more? Talk about rubbing salt in the wounds. Gamma understand those guys are sitting on a kit that will never see the day of light. So what did they do? Like an opportunistic muthafucker they are. They're exploiting the situation by jacking up the price. It's Easy for someone outside to say just cough up another 2K or wait in line. You do understand the pond is most likely dried up right? Bankruptcy court isn't going to do **** for them. It's pathetic our justice system favors these scum bags. But I guess business is business, regarless how many are victimized.

And You don't know how long some of these guys had been out of their money. A few of them got sick of the waiting game they don't even own a Z anymore. How would you like to have 7K taken from you and to have someone tell you cough up more money or get to the back of the line, jack.2k isn't just pocket change to fling around. People have priorties and family to take care of. Like I said if gamma can't do the right thing. They don't deserve to be back into this community.

This seems so patently obvious, I'm curious this thread isn't titled as such. It appears Gamma underestimated the animosity that GTM had generated and realized ANY association with SAM is an instant non-starter for most.

Bullit made some outstanding points, however they had to know the history of the person with whom they were associating with. I mean is anyone totally exempt from being judged by the associations you keep?
Hennessey made a comeback (though I'd never support them), so it's not out of the question for this company.

i have called them twice now and no return phone call
they have my 4.2 stroker moter that is being converted to a 4.5
stage 3 SC upgrade kit.
and i lent Sam my traction control unit,
everything is paid for.
about 26000.00 us dollars. plus the traction control 2300.00
the engine i gave them was fully dressed ( drop it in and turn the key).
if any body can talk to them to get in touch with me please do so,
hopefully they will call me tomorrow.

Guilt-by-association is a legal concept and doesn't really apply in The Real World. Birds of a feather flock together.

Maybe Gamma didn't realize what was going on when they bought out Sam/GTM. But that just make me question how well they do their homework. It'll be interesting to see where all this ends up in six months or so. I'm hoping that Gamma will be able to turn things around but have serious doubts.

To those that have lost money in the changeover: I don't see much hope for y'all from a legal standpoint. If you do win in court, you can't get blood out of a turnip. As much as you may hate it, paying a bit more to Gamma may be the only way you get anything at all (except a big bill from your lawyer). I'd still wait a bit before sending them any money. Best of luck to all of you.

How do you keep ending up with these kits if you don't mind me asking? You had this "special deal" on a kit about 4 months ago and then you sold it...now you have another one from a company not selling them to anyone else....just curious.

$26,000! Yikes!! Most guys didn't even pay that much for their Z. I honestly hope they pull their head from their asses and make it right for you man. Gamma, if you want to earn our trust, here would be a good start. Take care of Z elimnator and return to him what he's owed.

Absolutely agree! I saw a text/email posted somewhere where the Gamma owner said they are not legally or morally obligated to do anything. I understand the legal loopholes they are using to avoid paying customers that got screwed, but morally these guys are already bankrupt. That is precisely the kind of attitude I would expect from management willing to hire someone like Sam. We know exactly what kind of people these guys are. There is no doubt that these guys knew exactly what they were doing and were looking to take advantage of the situation. Without making a significant number of people in this community whole again, they do not deserve a dime of business from this community. IMO anyone who says otherwise either has something to lose from a personal standpoint (i.e. they've already given Gamma their money) or they just don't care about the community

GTM bought equipment and parts from the deposits of unfortunate group buy customers of the then MHI, now redubbed V3, kit. Any person buying a V3 kit from Gamma is buying what I would consider stolen goods from good hardworking forum members of both this site and myG37.com.

this is when I laugh at the few on here repping GTM/Gamma like some fuckin addict fresh out of rehab.

zelim got that much money missing and cant get a phone call returned but you other people say you're in talks with sam and gamma and emails blah blah blah bullshit.

I really cant give them any slack even with the "firing sam" PR stunt.

even if these people are made whole i'm still gonna have to talk down about GTM/Gamma and ALWAYS steer fellow Z/G brothers in a better direction for their part needs.
