I have a buddy who got screwed like that by a vendor...well he took a drive out there and face to face them. Put the guy on the wall and threatened to kick his ***, he brought people too. Needless to say he payed up, you just cant go around screwing people like that. Some one somewhere will eventually hold you accountable
still don't know how sam is still breathing at this point. the number of people he has screwed out of big money I would have gotten on a plane to go see him.

I would just like to point out the part of the email saying the reason that GTM went out of business was due to their low prices.......that's the only reason? lol

In all honesty anyone who thought they where going to get their products once GTM went Gamma was hoping for the best. I am not a GTM fan boy by any means but they do not have to honor or make anything right. Sam new exactly what he was doing when he took everyone's money and filed BK. Sounds like he needs a nice limp to go with those head issues of his..

Wow! I am sorry to hear about this OP. Hopefully you can do something to get your original money back. The whole "we are not legally or morally responsible for your transaction with GTM" would send me up the wall!

Sorta off topic.....

My car is finally on the road again and running the way it should thanks to Z1 and a sh!t ton of money. I was going to do a write up but I didn't think anyone was interested. If there is enough interest I'll do a few paragraphs.

For any new people that may have missed sticky thread, To all members: GTM = Gamma Motors, at the top:

Quote:
Thanks Trips for the post.

Sorry if I didn't get a chance to quickly reply and take control of the situation as I have been extremely busy. I am a person who has a lot of patience - everyone on the forum knows this. I have thick skin and I tolerate things way beyond any other admins in similar forums. As you know from this forum, it takes A LOT to get someone banned. I like to give someone benefit of the doubt and still give chance to come through. But when all those chances and my support toward a member or a company ends up being a huge issue and us (me and mods) spending countless hours cleaning up threads/removing post (where we could be spending that time with our family) and countless members hard earned money was put into jeopardy (I still don't know whether everyone got their money or part back), I will NOT bring that company back into my forum or anything to do with that company. The day I removed GTM/Sam from this forum, GTM/Sam is done from this forum. It doesn't matter whether the company has been renamed to Alpha or Beta or Gamma Motorsports -- it has no business coming back into my forum. I'm not a person who likes to go back and forth on things. I will take my time making a decision (my late decision to remove GTM/Sam etc) but once decided - it's final. There's no going back and forth.

I would like to warn and acknowledge everyone to refrain buying product from a company(GTM/Sam) we have banned on our forum. Do not discuss their products on our forum. If they have new products, you're welcome to buy from their website/other forums and discuss them in other Z forums etc or call manufacturer directly. DO NOT discuss that stuff here. We are not responsible for ANY money lost or engine blown or issues that you have with that product or company or person. As a matter of fact, we reserve the right to close/remove that thread and give you a warning for posting such thread/post.

I apologize if I sound harsh but I have lived though that nightmare. My mods and admins have lived though that nightmare. I'm not going through that again and that is my final word.

I think GTM/GAMMA needs to be talked about if it's stays on the subject of people getting parts or getting screwed. For example: I expressly stated that I wanted the 88mm pulley but come to find out, even with false varification by the train wreck in Tampa, I have the 92mm/8 pound pulley. I would like to get the 88mm but would like to see what is happening with other people's situations before I try. I can't do that if we can't talk about it. MODS please reconsider.

I had to fight tooth and nail to get Sam to send me everything, I even had my wife call and when that happens things change one way or the other. I bugged the sh!t out of Sam and with some help from a couple of guys at GTM and a lot of help from Andrew I finally got everything. But this was actually the EASY part of the journey.

Dang man! Ya everytime I'd call and ask about it he said, ahhh you don't need it your making enough power already! I even told him I just want it to throw on for numbers sake just to dyno it and see what it's capable of, not to run it all the time on that. He still didn't even want to sell it to me... So strange.
