SC Car Question MT gear selection

What gear/RPM are you driving around at? I find myself at 2K in town 5th gear. Motor seems to pull just fine. Boost is around 1-2 PSI at part throttle. If I stay at part throttle I am fine, WOT the boost goes away and the car falls.

Around town I'm in 3rd or 4th. I never drop to the 2k mark. Too low IMO.
I'm usually "around" 3k.
