We'll never compete with GMs in the 60' the suspension just aren't set up for it.

Back from the dead bc I FINALLY am done (for now) building her. Well, also took some time to not feel like I'm killing myself. Here's the first in years, can't wait for next 1/2 mile races!

Too bad it took 10+ years to finally figure out the oem suspenion was good enough to cut a damn near 1.3 60’

Hard to beat race grade TC. Tech has improved so much in the last few years, it just everyone has left the platform to better things. We now have huge improvements with Ecu tek, motec M1 but no one wants to spend the money on developing the software and now emtron is on board to make a full plug n play stand-alone. Cjm and specialty Z now have the Dct which will be huge and a company pmc I believe is make a awd Dct 370. If there just this crowd need to nut up. I believe myself and a few others don’t have to worry about headlift anymore, questions now is where is the limit of the cast block.

It will be the crank if the block holds together. 1200whp is going to be the limit for the rod bearings also. We will start to see rod bearing wear somewhere around there also. That will mean anything higher will need aluminum rods and will require more maintenance.

Runs with some V8 s/c. I'm sitting around 520whp, have to do little break boosting to keep up.

I think i've seen you mention stuff about software before but.
Assuming a harness adaptor for a Haltech or Motec what software still needs to be developed?

When I contact haltech they said that VVEL is full supported and their ECU's are perfectly able to control a 370z with custom harness.

But will it run all the can bus stuff? Will all the gauges and cruise control work? Probably not.

That’s all hearsay. Mark based that off the De platform.

It is not a plug and play system like Motec. You don't need another dash display and you lose functionality of the OEM dash. I thought Haltec was looking at doing a plug and play for the Z. Their dash display does plug and play with the Z.
