Cuuuuz There's about to be! :D Just placed myself in line at FI w/ Tony and Kevin. Driving the Z to Cali, having them install direct!

TT kit, Oil Cooler, Clutch/Flywheel, FI 3" Full exhaust, e85 Fuel Conversion, New Rear Ends, Boost Controller, Holy crap I can't believe how excited I am!

LOL! Don't we all? Really scared of this! but maybe that's why I'll try to keep the boost low as long as possible, so when I have the power craze I turn it up and it feels like a whole new car! LOL

I give it a 3 days before you want to turn the boost up as high as possible. :tup:

I turned mine up on the way home from the dyno :driving:

:roflpuke2: Aint that the truth??? It's funny how when you first get in a car you think "god this thing is fast" and then about a month later you think "is there something wrong? This car isn't as fast as it used to be"

The good/bad thing about that is now I'll be able to do something about it! hehe, it's gonna get me in trouble.

Btw, Day 1 in the shop earlier last week...hope they gave her some good pain killers prior to surgery.

That kind of work costs a pretty penny.... $10K just for the kit alone.....great choice on the kit and on having them do the install. ....Can't wait to see your review....did they tell you how long the process would take from start to finish? Curious to know how many hours it takes to do this job....Pictures say a lot and that's one big job

Honestly it was more of "Take your time and don't feel like I'm rushing you, I'd rather her get your full attention than think you have to meet a deadline" type of thing. FI has 100% confidence in the install, it's like a heart surgeon doing their 100th transplant: They know what their doin, but I sure as hell don't want any outside distractions! LOL All in all though it's going to be right at about a month after EVERYTHING. Install, tuning, testing, checking, testing, checking, tuning. Doing a heck of a lot more than just a turbo install too. I can't remember how many hours they quoted but they charged me one, and I know they are working a hell of a lot more hours. I'm excited and wouldn't have it any other way. :driving::tup:

:iagree: No body knows their product more than them....I have been impressed with the ability of their kit to make the Z run and at times outrun a couple of GTR's. Good on the no rush thing.....but we all know Tony...he won't rush a product out of his shop. ...it's all about top quality and control in his book. You're definitely in great hands with the F.I. team. Looking forward to next month when all is said and done....Super stoked for u man....:eekdance: :happydance:

That's exactly what I'm thinking. Thanks man! Totally feel like the drive to/from was worth it to have the shop that masterminded such an amazing system actually install it as well. Much better than a random 3rd party that has never installed it before (as is here in Arizona). Purchased the plane tickets with points and uber ride to/from the airport in LAX is only $60! HA.

Okay, I'm not going to say I told you so, but I told you this from the very beginning. When you see Kevin when you pick your ride up ask him about our conversation at ZDAYZ when you were posting some crazy azz stuff about having a third party do the job in the Phoenix area LOL. I am happy for you and can't wait to hook up with you sometime soon. I'm hoping my Z will be done about the same time as yours!!!

HA! I remember that. I think you were the eye opener of "Holy crap they're in Cali!" There was no going back from there. i was actually looking at the AAM kit initially and did that exact thing looking to see where they were and it was the east coast. When I officially made the decision on FI I had completely overlooked that possibility being so busy researching everything else. Can't wait man! And we are going to be up in Sedona mid October. Might have to run into you there! ;)

LOL it's all good now...just let me about Sedona it would be fun to make a run from there to Prescott via Jerome.
