Guy got into a front end accident and the blower took a little bump.

I can weld up the volute and send it out for a rebuild.

I told the guy i want to see if it will work with my bracket before i buy it.

Hes stoping by tonight, we will see!

You don't need a scavenge pump and you can get a jwt spacer for $99.

You only need to scavenge oil when it is below the pan or parallel. Gravity is your pump when it's above it.

Well vortech says they are gaining to send the supercharger to qc to see if the cases are good to rebuild. If not I have to buy a new one. Ugh. So if that's the case I will see about a v2. It should have all the same bolt locations for mounting correct?

So the oil pressure sending unit location should be ok with out a scavenge pump?

Default V2 sc

The V2 will fit the Stillen bracket but will need to come forward about 3/8" so that the pulley tracks line up straight.
Had my V2 mocked up in the car checking fitment and clearance before having to stop the project.
Since the Stillen V3 attaches to the Stillen bracket via a crescent shaped spacer I had planned to fabricate a reinforced plate that would both extend the SC'r out for the alignment and minimize or eliminate bracket flex.
I was told that the V2 should increase boost by appx. 3 lbs [according to Vortech] over the V3.
Should be noted here that the motor was built and had 9.5:1 compression.
It is my opinion that if you do go with the V2 on a stock motor you will gain performance over the v3, but you should also select a pulley size that will keep the boost at around 9 lbs or so.

Unfortunately I don't.
The project was terminated a year ago due to cost overruns and delays.
The shop doing the work had bit off a bit more than they could chew.
Had to pull the car out of the shop and send it down to AAM.
It's now in the last phase of a custom Twin Turbo build.

Well Vortech called back and said my v3 cases are good. I don't think I have it in me to spend the extra and try and get the v2 to work. Lol. Just want the car to run on this air to air.

Question that I have regarding ecutek is do I need the stock gauge cluster? Cause I have aftermarket gauges in those spots.

Last I heard you need those to get all the features, but contact Sebz from speciality Z, he'll give you a dead on answer!
