Correct me but I believe you don't have to remove the motor to install the FI kit where the AAM you do? Just something else to consider.

It's recommend that you remove the engine for the FI kit too...

to keep fingers and knuckles in useable condition then dropping the engine is pretty crucial lol

Digging what Cosmo said, sounds like the kit must be pretty easy, but going to have to agree with this one. Then again, isn't that why we pay someone else to do it? To keep our knuckles and baby soft hands for the ladies?

Texas hospitality but I love any cooking that involves time in the backyard and copious amount of alcohol so I added crawfish to my repertoire. Got plenty of Cajun buddies so I know mine are LA approved

My pops has a gigantic boil pot if lots of people want to do a big boil. The pot is 3'x3'x3' square with a basket. It can probably fit 120lbs of bugs in one batch. Ohh, and it's a toss up on which kit for me. They are both good. I think the only thing that has me slightly leaning to FI is the CS. On a side not, I HATE EVERYONE THAT HAS THE FI AND AAM kit!! That is all. Carry on. Edit: My POP's pot is 2'x2'x2 YzGyz Last edited by YzGyz; 05-04-2015 at 08:38 PM. |

I'll play
AAM kit has less than ideal pipe routing. for instance, look at that 90* turn the boost has to make before entering the intercooler passenger side. Or how close the intake pipe is to touching the the turbo manifold. Or how about those couplers on top of the intercooler. Too many bends and turns. It looks inefficient. Now go look at FI. Everything has smooth transitions. And both sides passenger and driver...looks equal length and mirror image of each other

I would sacrifice a few extra hours of work (if that even) for the utmost efficiency and power.
