GTM 1.5 Supercharger worth?
 

I have a buddy with a GTM 1.5 Supercharger kit he's looking to list for sale (doesn't have an account here). The kit has 10k miles on it and is almost complete just missing the fuel pump, injectors, and tuner. The kit is in great condition. What do you guys think is a good price to list this item for?

I personally had bad experience with Sam@GTM so in reality i would give $3000 max.

it will be hard to sell that kit with zero support in case something goes wrong..

For the SC owners I hope to have a partial solution this summer for support via other vendors.
Since my SC seized I have been digging through vendors to see who can supply what parts for the GTM SC kits, so far the only thing unable to source is the SC mounting bracket which GTM either CNC themselves or had a 3rd party.

Everything can be sourced from intake filters, SC, SC fluid, pulleys, fuel, etc. from others. Piping will be a bit tough but if the kit works then they are good & even a good shop could copy a pipe if a problem occurs easily.

Your kit seized? For what reason?

All fluid in the reservoir was dumped, was on the freeway doing 70 & was unaware of this. Heard a nice loud noise and then white smoke.

gtm stock is Way down so don't expect too much..

Check myg37 .com for sale threads. A lot of people sell their forced induction on there. This would be a great resource for market pricing.

Wow...faulty equipment?

Thinking it was just a leak somewhere, once we rip the SC off we will inspect it further checking all connections, clamps, etc for any possible leaking areas to find out where it happened and fix it.
