1. When at 6k+ RPM do you often find yourself feeling that the car is too slow?
2. Do you have $17-22K sitting around and not know anything better to do with it? (If you can do the work all yourself you can save around 5K off that.) 3. Do you usually have $5-10K available if the worst does happen. 4. Have you ever actually driven your car to it's full potential? Track/Autocross/etc.? If you answered yes then FI is a no brainier. |

To do it right you are going to drop minimum $15k on a turbo setup and you always need the 'my motor let go fund'. As for mpg I went from 19ish to 16ish when I used to daily it to work. I bought a DD now so my mileage is about 11-12ish because it only comes out of the garage to play with it. I will say that the VQ loves boost and having a boosted Z/G is loads of entertainment. |
