Stalling when coasting and ipdm
 

I am the new owner of O&G and Flushnismo's built 40th. Having a couple of issues I believe are connected. When coasting up to a red light or slowing down to turn, the car will randomly shut off. Fuel pressure, air/fuel, etc. are good when this happens and car will crank right back up. Also, I have to give it a little throttle when starting (hot & cold starts). At first I thought it was a tuning issue, but the more I research, I think it could be ipdm related because I also have a problem with my intelligent key (I have to put the key in the slot for the car to start otherwise it says "no key".) I read where Titans have the same problem going dead when slowing down, coasting, etc. and it is an ECM relay issue. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

What kit is on the car?

This sounds a lot like my problem with my Stillen kit. The problem was cause by air passing through one MAF and not the other when coasting.

I don't mean to be rude in anyway, but maybe you should contact JTran, since it is a custom kit. That would be the first thing i would do anyways, if I was in your shoes.

I'm 6 hours away. Just wanting some input from people on here.

check to see if your BOV is staying open too long

Contacting them doesn't necessarily mean taking it to them.

I hope it all works out.
