lol...explains a lot of traction issues! that stock one barely does anything for stock power. Cusco makes a clutch type diff, and those grab the best usually. I'd do a decent diff before changing out the final drive, though doing both probably won't hurt

When applying power in a straight line, i havent had any issues with single tire slip with the stock diff. But it definitely gets screwy when turning more than a couple degrees.

Personally I run a lower tune and make 4/5 gear useable at full throttle. Spinning is fun, but if the guy next to you is putting buses on you because of 0 traction then its not so fun. |

So an update for everyone... We made some great progress! On Friday we worked on the fuel mappings to increase the cars daily drivability. In the process we were able to sneak out some more power at lower boost levels. We have set the daily boost levels for 22psi... We made 853rwhp and 671ftlbs at 22psi on 93 octane. I was also able to get a proper alignment on the car and took the rear camber from -3* of camber to -.7*! Woah what difference that made! The car hooks now and the power really gets to the ground! Soo much though that I got to play around with my boy Rob's Nismo GTR last night and I felt really comfortable playing with him with partial throttle runs!!! This car is stupid fast! The car easily can out pace the Nismo gtr and probably any sub 800whp GTR... In a straight line that is and from a roll...

on a side note here are the calculations I came up with for gearing:
Based on an 7500RPM redline Stock 6MT: 3.69 Final Drive 1--44mph 2--71mph 3--102mph 4--131mph 5--166mph 6--210mph 6MT with the 3.3 Final Drive: 1--48mph 2--79mph 3--113mph 4--144mph 5--183mph 6--231mph

Do I sense a desire to insure accuracy and actually hit 231?
