I don't believe his car is a 7AT so he had more room. The OP car has a 7AT cooler behind his that's taking up space.

The difference is my intercooler is mounted with the mount tabs towards the back of the bumper support brace. swiss370Z mounted his to the front of the bumper support pushing it a little closer to the radiator. Like JWillis72 mentioned my coolers are behind there so we went this route for the added space and flow.

Did you have your tuner adjust the fan speed controls?
This is a big help in Texas, allows them to kick on at a lower temp, nice for traffic.

If you do that and don't track it the heat shouldn't be a problem. My car is probably not running warm enough to be a DD. My oil isn't going past 145 on the street in 70-80 degree weather.

That's a great idea, mine goes to 100% much lower and that helped. We also bumped the idle up on mine at hotter temps so it pushed the coolant a little more and it seemed to help.

check my album if you want some more info/pics on what I did with mine, seems to work well, still need to trim the rear of the front bar to get it to fit properly, I still need to trim mine a tad more, as my bonnet doesn't close by itself, I need to push down on it to get it to lock properly atm, so slightly more trim needed, it's due for supercharger oil change soon so going to tidy it up then

I ended up using the alloy from the crash bar lower support also to make the brackets, seem to hold well and are light.

Fan’s kick on at 215F, does that sound about right? Temp fall’s pretty quickly once fans are on.

Mine is at 100% before 200, is that 100% at 215? If so that should work. In the summer my car got hot fast with the SC and stock cooling.
