When you said "I pulled the cluster apart and installed the face into mine" Do you mean you swapped the gauge face only and installed it on your original touring

When you said "I pulled the cluster apart and installed the face into mine" Do you mean you swapped the gauge face only and installed it on your original touring cluster? I want to change the gauge face as well but not sure if can be done.
