I'm going to try and ressurect this thread.
My Z is an 09 Touring. It does not have the sports package and it's a manual transmission. Does anyone have any idea if I can swap the gauge cluster for a 2015 Nismo cluster? I know the mileage will need to be reprogrammed, but that's not an issue. I just need to know if it will physically work. Anyone have any idea on this or theories? As always, any and all help will be most appreciated.

Do you know if we can remove the gauge cluster and start the car and drive it ?
I would like to remove it to add an AIM dash logger but I know on some cars you have to keep the gauge cluster. |

Unfortunately I can't answer that, but I'm curious to know as well.

When you said "I pulled the cluster apart and installed the face into mine" Do you mean you swapped the gauge face only and installed it on your original touring cluster? I want to change the gauge face as well but not sure if can be done.
