Painted VIS vented cf hood? Yay or Nay?

Deciding if I should purchase a VIS vented CF hood and paint it OEM Blade Silver. It kinda looks like the oem hoods on the the new Vipers IMO. I

Painted VIS vented cf hood? Yay or Nay?

Deciding if I should purchase a VIS vented CF hood and paint it OEM Blade Silver. It kinda looks like the oem hoods on the the new Vipers IMO. I also want to get rid of all that power robbing heat soak.
