Not really...not if Z1 would do the fangs in black...check out all the photoshops I did on each colored Z's..looks 10x better than this.

:-) I was being nit picky. Wanted to see it directly from the side. But the photo above is good. The more I look at it the more I like it. Why is it taking so long for aftermarket body parts to come out for the 370Z?

What's the deal with Bomex overall? I could remember at least 10 years ago, they were a very respectable name in aftermarket aero-parts, however I have reason to believe that they have lost a step or two in recent years. Perhaps a change in manufacturing techniques or facility?

Because the final lip looks nothing like the original illustration. It's really a shame because people loved the original illustration. I'm not sure why bomex couldn't make the final lip look like it did in the illustration. If they had then I'm sure they would of sold a ton of lips.

Yeh, I see what you mean. The illustration does look much better. Oh well. Maybe another manufacturer can replicate it?

LOL...now that I look at the two pics in detail, the final version looks no different than the rendering at all. This stresses the importance of multiple, real-world photos at different angles before final judgement, although I'm sure the paint-scheme on Bomex's car helps.

Not really...its different enough for all us to puke at.

The sides curve in alot sooner than in the illustration, and that early curve gives the sides that bulbus type of look to it. Also, the center piece didnt look as tacked on as it does now. I dont know, it just looks kind-of big, and needs to be more low profile to look as smooth as it did with the factory sides. I feel this lip would need some sort of sides and rear spats to complete it more...

I rather have something like this...

If someone could develope their interpretation of this little lip kit all around for our cars and make it looks clean and functional, I would buy it.

Who knows, hopefully Bomex decides to flatten out the side and make it look less chunky.

It finally made it. All I can say is I don't love it, I don't hate it, but I gotta agree with the people saying it doesn't look like the photoshop (but not extremely different too). I hope they tweek it a little bit because my expectations had been high waiting for it.

The final version is more chunky at the corners near the tires than the original. Kind of reminds me of the s-tune a little. Should have left is flat and smooth around the side.
