Try going to local meets in your area such as car and coffee or big Z events.
Zday, Znationals you get to see and test fit.

You can also try visiting Sparco's facility. They will not sell directly but they will let you sit on them to try it out. That's how I found out what seats can accomodate a 300 lbs 6'2" guy. LoL

Going to sit in the 2015 Nismo and see how good it is, though it looks really sick on the website, looks like it goes for around $1500 + brackets, maybe less on sale

MotorSportSeats.com - Recaro Sportster

The 15 Nismo seats are nice. They are very comfortable to me and I'm 6'1" and 210lbs...I have a 35" waist.

15 NISMO seats are SIMILAR not equal to the recaro sportster cs. The nismo seats retain the bottom seat portion from previous years but add the upper back portion from recaro. Also anyone here ever had any experience with those "JDM UNIVERSAL RACING SEATS" from amazon / eBay? I know everyone will point out the obvious safety concerns for which I have a plan If were ever to buy some, but from what I've gathered from YouTube reviews and such is that they are pretty good quality. And on top of that they make a black suede / red stitching sportster knock off that I'm very interested in. Just wondering if anyone's ever thrown them in previous cars or had any knowledge first hand.

This is my own personal opinion, but I feel like the shoulder bolsters on the Vorgas are a lot more aggressive than the Recaros. In my current seating position, I have to lean forward to shift into 6th gear because the shoulder bolster is in the way. Obviously that is just a personal problem as it comes down to how big you are and how forward/backward you have the seat setup.

As far as the lower bolsters, the Sportsters and SR7 are pretty aggressive. The Vorga barely has a lower bolster so they're perfect for me since I have a huge @$$ LOL.

Lastly, the Vorga has a "bucket" type of feel compared to the Recaros. I'm not sure if it's because of the padding, but the Vorga feels like you're sitting in a shell whereas the Recaros don't have that stiff back/shell feeling.

Hopefully that helped! :tiphat:

Oh yeah. It's one thing trying out a seat in a shop where you enter/exit the seat from the front, but it's another thing when the seat is actually in the car and you have to step sideways out of the seat to get out of the car. That and depending on your seating position, the steering wheel gets in the way too and makes it harder to get out of some seats compared to others.
