I have only made one order from the website and I figured it was going to be a while but to my surprise it was about 3 weeks. I can tell you anything coming across the pound you shouldn't be in rush at all...my Fugi hood was just over three months.

Jay may not be the quickest in responding but he always followed up after a couple of pms.

From the comment Jay made I would guess not. CF top is a special order item, most of the high wings are painted top and bottom.

If something is "In Stock" that means it is in that company's physical inventory. If it is "special order" it is a custom made order that takes time. There is a huge difference you are failing to realize. If a company does not physically possess an item it is NOT "In Stock" by definition. To quote Evo-R's website, "In STOCK Takes 5-7 Business day to have it painted." I ordered that in January, that is long past 5-7 business days. He still has not replied to my emails, and probably never will. I just end up waiting to buy Evo-R's parts second hand from other people because there's just too many complaints on them. I just got their canards for my 09 bumper on eBay and they were practically new and far cheaper. Patience in this case is truly worth it.

It's not a patience issue, I've waited 6 months for parts happily that I knew were being custom built. When a company repeatedly lies by saying products are in stock and then takes your money and will not reply to you is called bad business. Don't get the two confused.

I know I've seen a few posts complaining about jay but I've ordered from him several times and don't remember having any issues with his customer service and every part I ordered is still on my car today in great condition. I'm sure this will probably irritate the op but I thought it would be fair to share my experience after all he does make some pretty cool pieces for our cars. I do know how frustrating it can be waiting for new parts though so I definitely get the anger

bruh...

EVO-R makes little nicknack appearance items and farms out for the bigger stuff. You aren't getting wind tunnel data

That said, any big ol' piece of metal and plastic is gonna have an affect aero. Question is whether its optimal or not depends what you're doing with the car. This wing is inordinately wide; there are GT style wings for the GTR that aren't this big.

So

Are you tracking hard? Pushing 500+Hp and regularly hitting triple digits? Do you have front aero designed to balance out rear downforce?

If the answer is "no" then. . . the real questions are

Does this look cool
Is it worth the price
why the **** would you give EVO-R money

and i say again

stop giving EVO-R money
