CF Mirror Caps -- Received mine, quality normal?
 

My girlfriend bought me some Stage something carbon fiber mirror caps from the Z store (the complete caps, not just replacements for the panels you have to take out)

I test fit them and they're a few mms away from completely covering the stock mirror at the top and the CF weave is ehhh and there's some shiny spots either in the fiber or between the fiber and clear.

Normal? I'd post pictures but CF oddities are notoriously hard to capture on camera...

If you bought them from the Z Store, they're Evo-R parts. And that is the quality they're known for.

Gotta be honest, out of all the CF parts I have, my Evo-R side blades honestly were the most "perfect" and that includes a Varis front lip and Fujimura rear diffuser, both of which are legit and $$$$$

Going to call John Monday to see if there's a second set I can look at if I return these on my dime.

Oh, right he has the two stages. Now I remember. One is supposed to cover the whole mirror and the other just the painted part.

pretty inexpensive so it sounds reasonable to have some imperfections.

Props to your gal though.

I'd say "you get what you pay for", but it's Evo-R. Most times you actually don't get what you pay for. I guess the OP should be glad he got parts at all. :rofl2:

Please make sure before you post. Our mirror covers does not cover all the way down. We do supply lots parts to Z store, but mirror covers are not one of them.

Yeah, I have to agree with many of the post regarding the quality of EvoR parts, When I bought the 40th it had an EvoR front lip and the CF is de-laminating - I tried to get a response for warranty or how they stand behind the products sold, but never even got a "So Sory" or " Too Bad" or even a Phuck Off"

There is alot of other CF parts I want, but I don't think I would purchase from them.

I've pretty much made sure and I still stick with my opinion that EvoR is shitty:icon23:

I will vouch for EVO-R, I removed my OEM foglight for their foglight and I love it.

I did have an issue at first but EVO-R solved it extremely quick so no problems with the customer service either.

I plan on getting the CF B-Pillars next year because I have read from many that the weave is perfect and they have no complaints either.

I'm really not sure why some of you guys dislike EVO-R, have you personally purchased their products before?
