no purpose at all, I had a 2005 TL and wanted a rear window spoiler, bought one of these stick ons which I ended up removing after about a week of looking at it and trying to tell myself it looked good...:shakes head:

Funny...i did the same on my g35 sedan. From one angle it was butt ugly another angle u loved it. Finally tire it off;)

It depends on the style your going for they can look good. Or they can look out of place, it's a personal preference thing I kinda like em.

Had a similar roof spoiler in carbon fiber on my 350.
Its for looks.
Mine sorta went with some other CF pieces on the car.

I heard if you go 88 mph with a roof spoiler for 3 miles. You will jump dimension through a worm hole, and end up in a world where the earth spins backwards. Platipussys are the dominant species.

I rendered some on my car once, didn't look too bad. The only thing is who is going to make them. My neighbor has them on his current gen challenger and looks sweet.

I heard Walmart makes nice automotive things.

I really couldn't imagine this looking good. Its a classic throw back look, which you can't really pull off with a car that looks this modern, aka drop dead shexy.
