It looks like the left was adjusted (bent) but the right doesn't look like it needed it. Also, the left pin doesn't usually cleanly clear the latch rod. I have to slightly push down once or twice for it to disengage, so it looks like the installer had to get jiggy with it a bit.
These aren't the best since it is really bright out: http://www.the370z.com/members/black...etail-left.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/black...asure-left.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/black...tail-right.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/black...sure-right.jpg |
Many thanks! Did you notice if they modified the underside of the latch to give more clearance for the pin to enter?

I will take a look at it...the shop will open in an hour, so I will call them when I have a chance to see how much effort they needed and if they have any tips.

It looks like the mechanic did have to make some adjustments, but since I never had seen them when they were new I am not sure how much was done:

Thanks again. I started my own install thread to document this for future reference.

Did any of you with the CF hoods have any luck with making the washer nozzles work? I saw the one thread where the guy made a plate and riveted it on, but was looking to see if there are any other successful ways of getting them to work.

How did you get the clips to stay in? Mine don't want to latch on the underside.

Kinda reviving this from the dead...for those who had a shop do this, about how much did you end up paying?
