head room

i havent bought my 370z yet and ive only been able to see one in person maybe two times, now im 6'4 almost 6'5 and im a lil worried that i might be a lil to tall to drive my favorite car can anyone help with really how much room is in the car??

theDreamer 10-03-2009 06:56 PM

6'4", I do not sit 100% straight up in the car, but it does not bother me. I drive the base with sport, I have been researching aftermarket seats or lowering the stock seats if I get them upgraded to leather.

i meant to ask to im bout 230 pounds so is this a problem as well

Cannot help with that, 190 here (skinny like a twig), but tall.
Have you had a chance to sit in a Z yet? If not I recommend doing it, spend 5-10 minutes just messing with the seats and it will help.

I'm 6'6" about 215 and i just barely fit in the car. If I sit up straight and lean all the way back my head brushes the roof. But, it's still comfortable and very drivable.

Hahah nice user name!

I'm not tall 5'9, but I'm built like a turtle, 250lbs. 38 inch waist, I can feel the seat contours on my hips but it's still comfortable.

I'm 6'5" and about 240 lbs and I have the seat all the way back and reclined a bit. My head just clears the roof. If you're wide, the seats can get a bit tight. I took a 2200+mile roadtrip and the seats damn near crippled me by the time I got home. The side bolster really get uncomfortable on the thighs. I'm going to be looking for different seats in the near future.

i had a feeling that being wide with those side boulsters would cause a "crippling" effect but ive seen the bride lowmax seats that have super low cushions so im hoping those would take some pressure off the shoulder area.
