Default Door latch adjustment

My passenger door doesn't close all the time on the first try, sometimes you have to close it again and with a bit more "slam" to get it close. Can the latch be adjusted so the door will close better? If so, how?

I personally haven't checked on the adjustment of the door latch.

But is there a reason that you cant just make an appointment with your local Nissan dealer?

Its under warranty so why not use it?

Adjustment procedures are in the FSM (link in my sig) if you want to DIY. But I agree that you ought to let the dealer handle it under warranty. They should have any special tools/equipment needed to do the job right.

Made an appointment and took my car by the delay yesterday and there is a black plastic/rubber clip that sits in the latch. I guess it kinda acts as a guide and takes up the extra space so the latch catches and is snug. Anyway, that piece was broken and they had to order the part.
