Anybody wrap their tach gauge or pod hoods?

Wanna see what it looks like if anybody wrapped them with cf vinyl.

The post with all your work wouldn't show all the pics for some reason. Where can I see them?

I tried wrapping the gauge pods but the vinyl didn't stick very well. It was also a huge PITA because of the location! I ended up getting the CF overlays...a bit pricey but they look good!

I tried a small piece around the edge and yeah not gonna work. I'll get the cf covers.

Ok so I have both 3M DI-NOC and 1080. The 1080 is so much easier to work with and seems to be a lot stickier. The DI-NOC is thicker and is plastic more than anything. Whereas the 1080 is thinner, stickier and can be stretched. So I got a piece and wrapped it around the edge of one pod hood. Wanna see how it holds up this week. I wrapped the silver rings around the three pods with anthracite 1080. Came out perfect.

Won't let me attach more than 1 pic in each post.
