Gentex 453 on the cheap
 

Just picked up a homelink mirror for a great deal:
Gentex 453 Autodim Homelink Hidden Amber Compass Rearview Mirror CLEARANCE | eBay

It's a B grade and I got it for $30. It's a B grade because there are minor cosmetic scratches on the housing or glass. Opened mine up today and it only has minor scratches on the top side of the housing where I will never see it once installed. It even has the amber compass. I haven't installed and powered it up yet, but they are all supposedly tested.

Beware though, YMMV.

be funny if only half of the mirror auto dimmed. :icon17:

I find it hilarious that you were the one who told him to get the homelink mirror and now that he bought one not from nissan this lol for the record nissan does have like a 400% markup on its electronics, it could actually be the same mirror for that price. It could also be a knock off.

Edit: ok it is a used oem mirror that either is scratched or chipped blemish on the plastic, meh.

Update:
Installed and it works like a champ. I have more money in the wire and OEM cover piece than the mirror.

Thanks for the many write ups that gave me the motivation to do this. Blend mount is next!
