Fly1 Motorsports Niko Edition Widebody Build Thread!
The purpose of this thread is to be a living diary of our customers' Niko Edition Widebody builds! Specific details about options and purchasing of the kit can be found in our Sponsor Classified Section posting HERE.
Our hope is that this thread becomes primarily a photo diary of our customer Niko Widebody installations, along with brief specs of work provided/supported by Fly1 Motorsports. By no means is this intended to replace each members individual build thread in the "Members Gallery" section. We respectfully ask that any comments/questions not directly related to the Niko Edition Widebody kits be directed to owners via PM or on their individual threads. ENJOY! "THE LIST" 000 - Fly1 Motorsports (FRP Widebody/Zele Style Kit) - install in process 001 - Tibal (FRP Widebody/Zele Style Kit) - install in process 002 - Nomodsjk - (CF Widebody/ CF Amuse Kit) - installed |

Nomodjk's Niko Edition Widebody Kit #002
Richard shipped us his Z from West Virginia to do a full transformation in time for Z Nationals. We had a little over 4 weeks with the car, and in that time we did quite a lot! Some highlights...
Air suspension getting installed...quarter panels cut/welded/sealed: Supercharger cover / Strut bar...CF GALORE MEATY! Test Fit: Silicone drying (no rivets on this kit)! Testing clearance when airing out... New Tips! Time for decals! Getting ready to ship back to West Virginia! See ya at Z Nationals and SEMA!! |

I'm so glad I didn't have to watch them load my car onto that trailer. I do believe I would have had a heart attack! I'm hoping its not too bad coming off. I can't freaking wait till Sunday! I can't say it enough thank you Lohit!

Lol I know trust me! We're lucky its getting back in time for nationals I'll tell you that much. Never trust a transport company when they tell you don't worry we can get your car back on time for your big event just call us a day or two in advance! BS! The company knew the whole story from the beginning when they shipped it to LA and knew we were only going to have a few days to spare with getting the car back in time for nationals. I called him several times along the way to update him and every time he assured me all he needed was a day or two notice. He said this to me so many times it was obvious to me that he was a little irritated with the updates so of course when the car is ready for pick up his trailers are full and can't help us....great! Like I said I'm just glad I wasn't forced to drive it back from LA!

Yes I will be there and yes Lohit put the boards on the truck for me already! He's awesome, thinks of everything! And as for the pick up we in west Virginia have what we call"open carry laws" and I do believe I'll be exercising my rights tomorrow lol

Since this got trailered there and you only used silicone to install because you didn't want bolt holes, i take it this is just a show piece? Track use at 150mph plus I don't see silicone holding.

But for a DD, and even weekend track warrior, the silicone will be plenty strong. Nomodsjk just drove from WV to GA for Z Nationals and just let me know that there weren't any issues whatsoever. Not bad for the first ~650 miles on his Z after we did a full transformation, including air suspension! |
