I don't think you would get flamed too much. Time attack or track looking cars are the new trend. In fact, there is an article about it in one of the magazines right now.

For functionality I agree that the GTC-200 is too narrow for the 370Z and if the Nismo spoiler is anything like the sport package one then it will leave a bunch of holes in the middle of your hatch as you can see here...
