decals under the hood

anybody got decals on their strut brace? i got a fairladyz decals but im afraid the heat would make it melt or not stick well

I have my "supercharged by stillen" decal on my strut brace and it's fine. Even with all the heat from the supercharger and believe me there's a lot of heat

vinyl decals will be fine. I use them under my powdercoat all the time, and that cures at 400 degrees F.

I have just the Z from the 370Z emblem from rear of the car on the strut bar. It's fine.

only thing i dont suggest is using dinoc overlay on the engine cover. that did not go well. :rofl2:

Interesting, did it melts all over your engine bay?

it shrunk and the adhesive changed composition...and baked onto the cover.

had to sand it down completely, re-spray using engine enamel matte-black.
turned out perfect though. :D no one can tell it's repainted.
