Blank Switches in Non-Touring - Phone Holder
 

I have the non-touring 2009 370z. If i have an open can/drink in the cup holder it is a pain to find somewhere to set my phone down (it is plugged into the auxiliary). I wonder if it would be possible to cut out the square where the three blank switches (where the heated seats would be) and replace them with a black plastic tray or cup of some sort so that I could set my phone down in there and it would stay in place. Anyone done this before? Or have any ideas on how this could be done?

Yep, someone did it already and used a crown royal bag to fill the space as a holder.
