Default Dealer Clearbra installation?

If you go that route, you'll be paying more than you have to because the dealer has to get their share. The best option would be to find a reputable shop(i.e. surfing other local forums if necessary) and bring it to them. Buy some 3M painters tape and wrap the bumper and any other part that you plan on putting a clear bra on.

I know the dealers around my area actually use a shop not owned by them. There is one car dealer that has its own shop but it is actually located at their body shop in a different location.

I kind of figured that might be the case with most dealers? If that is the case, then there might be little to no markup in price. I just figured it would be easier and way more convenient to have this done before I even have to trade in my car.

Then again, how long would a clearbra install on the entire hood+front bumper take? Wonder if most shops could do that and tint in a single day? If so, then I guess it isn't a big deal to get it done elsewhere.

hood and bumper could take as much as 3-4hrs. they should be able to get you in/out in one day.
