Quad tips

Mag_Black,

It looks like the exhaust tip is behind the rear bumper's opening. So the exhaust shop has to extend it and bring it up more, right?

I went w/ 4" because the exhaust openings are oval and my tips are round. I wanted to leave some room for any vibrations and/or movement of tips.

edit: the real zele exhaust is 4.5", but it's oval tipped.

Yup, they're going to weld a pipe up and out and then take another pipe and cut both pipes in half and join them where the canisters are. This way, both tips will be functional.

I had the opportunity to go w/ a faux 2nd tip, but it would probably bother me knowing that one is only functional.

I bought this...

Dimensions:
•Inlet: 2.5 Inch (63 mm)
•Outlet: 4 Inch (102 mm)
•Total length: 11 Inch (265 mm)
•Width: 8 Inch (203 mm)

base on my measurements it should fit. the exhaust shop should be able to weld this onto the exhaust...

let the waiting begin...

I will get some pics tomorrow. It's just 3m tape and some screws on the bottom.

I'm getting my exhaust done tomorrow, I'll post pics of that too.

cool, much appreciated! I will drop my car off next week. I am still looking for an exhaust shop that can modify my exhaust. My friend tig welder is being repaired right now...

Mag black, did you cut your exhaust tip in that picture you posted? Mine looks totally different from yours and I could not dry fit my exhaust unless I removed my muffler... the FI resonated exhaust tip was touching at the top and bottom...

I'm actually disappointed in the work. This is not how we talked about doing it. The 2nd tip will never flow w/ it like this. This does not look like $850 work of work to me.
