Clear coat over vinyl wrap

I have my car wrapped in Brushed metal blue 3M vinyl. It looks pretty nice in the direct sun, but if clouds come over or at night time it looks purple, and I don't like it.

It must be the way the brush strokes in the vinyl reflect the light. So as an experiment I used a satin clear coat over the bottom part of my stillen bumper and it appears to bend the light, or shine it up, and looks blue under the darker light conditions.

Thinking of doing my entire car like this where I literally spray satin clear coat over the entire vinyl wrap.

Does anyone know if this will cause and unforeseen issues? Would I be better off with a high gloss vs the satin I have?

i would check with bluebatmobile for comments/recommendation on heat under the sun.
i dont know how each of the vinyl behaves under a coating + heat/UV..

I booth cleared di-noc carbon fiber vinyl, but the result was not good. Clearing hid the pattern stamped into the vinyl. Professional clear was too thick even with a single light coat. If you have scrap pieces, experiment with some spray bombs. Clearing will definitely change your perception.

What would happen if you lay clear bra over it....
