My precuts come oversized for complete coverage :). Also, we've removed roof overlays on cars that have had them on for a good 4 plus years, no issues with paint at all. Also, u can lengthen the life of the wrap by taking care of it. I use a quick detail to keep it fresh .

I hazzard a guess the bumper paint is the weakest link here. In the FL heat it gets nice and soft.

+1 for painting it instead if you plan on keeping your Z

I'm on vinyl #2 but my first one was installed in 2008 with the lower quality vinyl. That means I have dropped around $250 and should have just had my roof painted but like I stated earlier the newer vinyl is really good quality compared to what I had prior

Hmm, current me might say ill keep my Z, but future me might have other plans :stirthepot:

I did think about painting the roof once, but its possible i might get tired of the black and want to have the option of removing the vynil if this happens
