Everything can be ordered from Nissan to make it fit (wheel liners, fasteners, etc.).

It's not like 2015 has any different major body changes from previous years. I doubt Nissan would have a separate assembly lines for just the Nismo. The Nismo is still identical in every way to all the other 370s until suspension, wheels. body kit and exhaust are put on. Attachment points for the body work will be identical to any other 370Z.

^^ they're necessary to cover the gap in the fender liner and the front bumper. If you're thinking of going 2015 Nismo, just get everything except the DRL's. The extension pieces are about $50.

They didn't come with the kit. Im not sure if they are the same as on previous nismos...the part numbers are 62064-6GA0A and 62064-6GA0B. They are called "protector fender liner fillers". I know my base undershroud isn't going to line up perfectly either. Hopefully I'll be able to order the proper undershroud at some point, because it's gonna bother me knowing its not fitting together perfectly (I'm OCD like that). As soon as this weather lets up I'll get the bumper painted and installed. Based on the others who've done it, the undershroud and fender liner fillers were the only issues.

Okay so from.what I understand the fender liner fillers are similar to but maybe not the same as the ones on my nismo ('12). On mine I know they aren't completely necessary but definitely would opt to have them. Especially if they're only $50 a pop. As for the undertray I wonder if it would be possible to modify an aftermarket undertray to bolt onto the bumper.

Will do a picture when I can finally get the car clean and its done snowing but I now have the bumper on my roadster. Had the nismo badge holes filled in and the whole bumper painted body color (black cherry). The place who did it wanted to paint the red accents body color also and had to tell them no.
Just to make sure side skirts on roadsters and coupes are the same correct? no length difference? Any extra modifications or anything I need to know when I do the rear bumper? And I have to figure out if the nismo spoiler will work on a roadster trunk. |

If someone were to do a detailed step by step DIY for this, I guarantee you would be repped 10000 times!

I am thinking there wouldnt be a gap like that if you also had a 2015 rear hatchlid spoiler? Also, the 2015 rear bumper cover you have fitted, does it require new fender liners like the front bumper requires them? On the subject, has anyone fitted a 2015 rear spoiler? I did see Juan's post in the sponser section but still no answers as to mounting and if it uses existing holes. Last edited by Limeybastard; 03-07-2015 at 12:13 AM. |
