The front and rear is too busy, imo.

You'd be a rich man but he would still be callin it like it is. I guaranty 90% of those fins and vents do nothing but multiply the CD not to mention make it look "oh so rice" .

Can anyone confirm if the led housings on the Arising II can accommodate oem 2013 plus LED drls?
I really hope so or else I may end up with another set of vents to help air out my rice. |

It looks to be exact same shape and size from the pics.

I think my favorite piece is the VSDC cooling bonnet. I absolutely LOVE mine and it's awesome how both sides (top and bottom) are all carbon. Not to mention that it fit perfectly and is super light compared to the stock hood.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing but wasn't sure if anyone had gotten that far with their install yet.
I liked the DRLs on the new models, but didn't care for the defanged bumper. I ended up going with this front in the hopes of keeping them and wanting something a bit more aggressive than the lip kits. My other alternative was the Fujimura front. Will be curious to see photos once everyone is out of paint. This is one kit that I think will look better on darker cars. |

the problem with all the extra vents is that they aren't terribly well thought out most of the time. We tend to equate more and bigger vents with more airflow but that isn't the case. Like bigger front openings, if you make the hole in the front of the bumper too large all you end up with is a larger high pressure zone in the front of the car if the air can't get OUT of the engine bay. Most of the time the way people get air out of the engine bay is by venting the hood, which can be a good and bad if done wrong, if you're hood vents are too large you can end up decreasing the airflow out the back of the engine bay which cools the exhaust and firewall which for you turbo guys can lead to increased fire risk depending on where your' lines are and how close stuff is. the grand am teams use the nismo bumper because it is longer and sleeker and has a lower profile air inlet which reduces high speed drag on the car. The inlet is big enough to cool the motor at high speeds while being small enough to keep a high CD look at the actual grill opening on the corvette. Scoops in the sideskirts that don't go anywhere or cool anything, vents way up above the trunk line on the rear bumper that vent sheetmetal, fender vents that only work without the fender liners in place(the fender liners do more for wheel well aero than the vent does) these are the things that make all these ridicu-vented JDM kits rice-Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements.

I waaaaas gonna say remove the crap in the middle of the front bumper and this would be 100% money, but everyone else thought the same thing lol. With all the stuff in the middle, it's 70% money.
