The Varis Arising-II kit is growing on me

Those are needed only if you get the fenders, because they are wider then stock. You don't need them if you just get the front. Stock fenders with Varis front.

I see. Bulletproof didn't tell me that there are 2 versions of the front bumper and nor is it listed on their website. But I guess since I ordered the full kit, including the fenders, they chose the correct front for me.

You misunderstand

There's ONE version of the bumper

It flows perfectly fine with OEM fenders

Varis vented fenders are 10mm wider and stock, thats why you add the extra pieces on each corner, so it transitions from the fender's wider with to the bumper (which . . . again . . . is the same size as stock

When you order the fenders they include the add-on pieces
Z Spec, ZArchitect and NextLevel like this.

Ohhh gotcha! I thought the bumper originally came like that. I never got to see my kit in raw form but only the finished product. I guess the body shop attached it so well that I thought it came like that with the bumper. Thanks for the clarification.

And if you didn't know there is actually 2 versions of the Varis fenders. One for the OEM bumper and one for the Varis bumper.

I just checked on the Varis site:
VARIS Z34 FAIRLADY Z ARISING - II

There are 2 part #'s for front bumpers and 2 part #'s for fenders (listed as "6 pcs"), but there's no price difference between either #.

I have yet to see any differences, so if there is any distinction i'd love to actually see it

RANDOM:
I'm already committed to a '12 Nismo wing + carbon signal add on, but one thing I didn't like about the Varis Hyper Narrow GT wing was . . . how narrow it was. Seems way too small, particularly for an aggressive kit like Varis. The Hyper Narrow GT for the GTR Arising is a couple inches wider . . . i WONDER if the Z34 base could be used to mount the GTR blade

I actually cannot seem to find any pics of the difference, I have feeling it may just be fitment difference. I was told by one of the official Varis suppliers down here that one of the fenders is for the Varis front bar, and the other is for the OEM front bar.

And as OptionZero said, you can check the official Varis products page and there is 2 Varis fenders priced exactly the same.

That is exactly right shadow85. There's a set to be used with the Varis front bumper and a set to be used with the OEM front bumper. That is because as you might have seen at the beginning of this thread a lot of people don't like the Varis bumper. So if you want the fenders you can still use them with your OEM bumper if that's what you want.

Yea that's what I thought. But strangely enough, I cannot find a picture anywhere of the Varis fenders fitted on with an OEM front bumper, I can only find pics of the Varis fenders fitted with the Varis front bumper.

does the varis fenders fit the 15+ oem nismo front bumper? Isn't the nismo versions like an inch wider than the regular version so are the addon pieces still needed?

Where did you read that the Nismo fender is wider?

15+ Nismo fender is no different then any other 370Z model fender.
