For those that have a Clearbra

How durable is the clearbra. For example if a stone hits it I know its protecting the paint but is there any damage to the clear bra.

Can you see any dents/scratches in the film

I'm just concerned that after a year or so, the film will be covered in dents/scratches. I know its better than the paint being chiped, but I'm trying to work out clear bra or normal bra
Thanks

No tears or scratches in mine from 6 months of driving. I highly recommend it.

I have one ding in the clear bra....it doesn't look like it is ripped at all just slightly rippled up where a stone hit it. If it weren't for the bra I would have a major chip in my paint. Instead I have a tiny rippled in the bra that can only be seen in certain light conditions

from my experience most rocks will bounce off without damage to paint and leave a gray-ish mark on the clearbra. after a while it looks kinda bad with all the little dots...and think why/who am i saving my car for?

If you search you should find some threads with comments about clear bra and ventureshield. I believe the clear bra is touched up with alcohol taking out scratches and such. Ventureshield I believe recommends Plexus for cleaning and I've seen reference to a heat gun on a scratched area for 3-5 seconds will take care of a scratch. I myself have Ventureshield and haven't had any scratches or dings that needed repair, but if I do, I'll likely take it to the installer and let them handle it for me. By the way, don't use alcohol and a cloth for Ventureshield because that will just scuff your Ventureshield like crazy. It only works on the clear bra.

10000 miles with my 3m clear bra, no problems with it at all. No chips or scratches, just fun getting bug guts off. One of the best investments for any car, strongly recommend getting one if you don't already have one.

On my last car it was looking a bit funky after 5 years. Peeled it off for the new owner and he got a pristine front end. Clearbra is a great investment for the next owner!

When you peeled it off after 5 years was there any color differentiation? Due to fade/weathering of unprotected paint vs. protected paint by clear bra

That is one thing that worries me about taking it off

you shouldn't see a difference if you waxed/sealed the clearbra as you did the rest of your car. sometimes on whiter cars you might notice that the bra yellow'ed a bit but it's only on the bra usually.
