My windows will go down slightly when the door opens and do not raise back up when the door closes. Has anyone gone through this? If so.. what was the

Has anyone gone through this? If so.. what was the issue? The windows seem to work normal as in going up and down when I'm in it and or driving. Otherwise it's just the exit and closing.
