2014 370z Rear Fog Light

Sup guys, I've been wanting to install the rear fog light on my 370 but I'm not sure what components I need.

I know I need the harness to connect it but I'm not sure whether or not I need the euro spec lamp. As the 2014 model doesn't come with a black "filler plug", I'm wondering if it already comes with the lamp and I just need to buy the harness.

Before I go through the labor of taking it out for further inspection, I thought I'd ask you guys first to save the trouble.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Here - JDM Fairlady Z Reverse Fog Light
It's $59.95 & they sell a custom made harness for easy wiring into the brake lights, or whatever setup you'd like to use for $18.00

I've been toying with doing this mod an wonder since we already have the lens (2013), couldn't we just rig it with a trailer LED light kit to the brake lights since that would be the way I would like mine to work instead of a fog light?...I wonder if anyone has tried this thanks

HEK you can drill a hole where the bulb goes into on the foglamp ones and just get a wedge holder and put a 192 or 168 (your choice) in there probably.

if i had the new butt plugs, i would just go that route. mine is a 09 so i just bought an
entirely new fog lamp.

Evo-R requires no drilling at all and is super bright!

always get compliments on mine

the question was whether one can modify the stock butt plug to make it into an actual lamp. and i think it is doable.

One of these days I will attemp it as my son just replaced the lights on his trailer with a newer set so I'll see how the wiring goes 1st before I start drilling, from previous experience sometimes your better off paying a little extra. I just would like a set up where the lights match the color of the brake light and also doesn't flash like a strobe when you apply the brakes and I'm not sure if the kits just go on with the brake and lights when these are on...

yah, but the butt plug housing was identical to the fog lamp housing just without the hole for the bulb, so it should work. :D

GL with your project.
