Yes, I did already. I'm just trying to install the yellow LED for the indication light. I install the fog light, wired everything like factory and installed the factory switch, but since there is no LED for the fog light at the gauge I have to install one myself, and just needed to know the color.

I'm sorry I did this about 3 months ago and I didn't take any pictures, and it would take me a long time to explain all the work I did, and I don't have that kind of time right now, sorry guys, but maybe I can do it later.

hey dcrew are you thinking of replacing your rear foglights as well? I just ordered mine from theztore but still looking for someone who can install this thing and now I think it is proven by Jowe that we can replace the stalk with a european stalk for the fog, light switch.

Yeah I've been looking to replace the fog lamp for quite some time now actually.

I just haven't decided on how I want to go at it.

I bought this switch originally so I can turn it on / off and have it automatically shut off when I turn the ignition off by connecting it to the ignition/accessory wire.

This is the factory leather heated seat warmer switch:

But I would rather have a cleaner look by installing the fog light / head light stalk. I'm still looking into it and seeing if I can purchase this part as well as the LED behind the guage cluster.

The installation might be more of a hassle than it's worth but for now I'm just gonna be patient.

I remembered one of the guys on this forum did that kind of a swithc . I think his forum name is Nash. It actually does not look bad at all if you use the seat heater switch but I do understand that the other way ( stalk ) is way better. I asked Jowe where he purchased the stalk and how difficult the installation was. Hopefully he will get back soon. Did you buy your fog light yet? I just ordered mine yesterday so hopefully it will arrive soon. Hey which part of socal are you?

I ordered the fog light a while back from the Z store (august 7, 2009) and still haven't received it so I ended up cancelling the order.

If I can get the stalk I'll go ahead and purchase the fog light from another vendor and get it installed.

I guess we need a yellow LED as well for the instrument panel?

BTW, I'm from the Orange County area; Hometown of Sublime - Garden Grove

well I got an email from the Ztore that they will be shipping my order today so we will see. Yes I agree with you on that plan that if it is hard to get the stalk then i will just use the heated switch also. Are you planning to mod your headlights? like LEDs?

I'd like to but I don't feel like shipping out my headlights since my 370z is my daily driver.

I'd rather stop by a local shop either in Georgia or California when I come back and get it done.

I heard Lou@amplified can do these so that's an option in CA.

I was also thinking about asking a few members, maybe caravanshanka (he's done his own headlight modding) if he could help me with it if I stop by Texas or any other place along the way from Georgia to California to get this done.

DIY: Headlight LED's and blackout

I'm surprised you got your foglight from them. I guess they have it in stock now. A simple "out of stock" before you checkout an item goes a long way with customer service. Oh well.

Nogoodname mentioned calling up a nissan dealership in vancouver, Canada to get the stalk. Did you by chance get any contact info? Oh and did Jowe reply back to you?

Well anyways, good luck and post up any pics / DIY / suggestions you can.

Jowe hasn't repleid back yet. I called a dealership in Vancouver way last March. I think i still have there number so i will try to find it. My only dilemma is the guy that will do my lights wants to know the exact dimension of the lights to make sure it will fit on his oven so i am still researching about this information. I called a dealership today and they don't have our light assembly on stock as I wanted to ask a favor fromthem if i can measure the dimensions. Do you have any idea?

I don't know the exact dimensions but you should be able to at least measure the length without disassembly; add about 1-2 inches for anything extending past the headlights you can't visibly see.

As for the height ... dunno.

If you get the info or order the stalk from that vancouver nissan dealership, pass along the details

Let me know how your headlight plans go as well as your foglight
