Default Black emblems

I want my front and rear Nissan emblems to be black. I've read through several threads but just wanted a simple opinion. Do I just remove the OEM emblems and paint them and re-install or buy something like the Evo-R Z emblems and just replace the OEM? I ask because the Evo emblem have a solid back and it may be easier to hide the adhesive, where the OEM's may be more difficult to re-install.

I do not want to Plasti-dip, so don't go there.

It would be cheaper just to paint the OEM but I don't mind buying something if the install is that much easier.

Thanks

It's so easy to re-install...but might be a pain to get the old double sided tape off to reapply new one. Heatgun makes it a lot easier. Not sure how well regular spray paint will last on the emblems though...

I wouldn't use a rattle can. I would take them to work and put on some etching wash primer then a matte black urethane
