Default Water leaking into the passenger side... help?

I washed my car today and noticed that after washing it, there was a small puddle of water on my rubber mat. It is coming through some how and I cannot figure it out.

I am certainly not going to dump more water to try and find out. This is why I came here to see if anyone else had this problem?

The panels under the hood has been removed before so I can install my turbo kit and gauges. The panels were put back as is and now I have a leak. As far as I know, when it rains it doesn't leak into the car. I believe it is coming through the air vents under the hood but is that possible?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

NOt sure if I even have one. When I took the glove compartment off while installing my turbo kit, I do not remember seeing one.

check the rubber door sills at the bottom of passanger door, if anything use some talcom powder and Pam this will assist in finding where the intrusion is.

I'm pretty sure it isn't the rubber door sills. No water around there.

were you using a high pressure hose at the time?
Water will sometimes find a way in around the rubber under pressure....

If the panels you are talking about are the panels that cover the battery and brake reservoir, make sure they are seated properly at the bottom of the windshield and that the foam gasket between the panels and the hood is intact.

Big rubber grommet under your windshield wiper cowling on passenger side. More than like this was the access they used for wiring. I would bet $100. Use the DYI on how to pull the steering lock fuse to get access in there.

^ THIS was my problem.

It's really easy to get to it. Pop the hood, take that black plastic piece off the passenger side. I think the battery cover too.

OP. If it's under warranty, take it in... If not, you're FUCKÉD. Don't touch the grommet because you'll break it more.
And if it is that grommet... PM me. But plan on selling the car. This is an unfixable problem without replacing the entire wiring loom.

Welcome to the, WhatAPieceOfShitNissanIs club.

Unless I undo all the wiring which I prefer not to do, is there another way to seal that grommet by adding some sort of material to it?

I'm sure if you dump a ton of RTV silicone and get it all up in there REAL good, you may be able to seal it.
