Sunshade/

Anyone care to recomend a relatively inexpensive sun shade for the Z?

I know these are showing for home windows but I think you might be able to DIY them to fit the windshield.

Can double as a awning just in case too.

Find a tree, park under it.

You *** clowns. Serious question. I don't want dash melting in Florida heat!

Take a quick measurement across the windshield and head to wally world and see what sizes they have. Probably the cheapest option, besides my awesome idea above.

I use a window screen from here. It's not cheap but compared to coil kit or Vossen wheels, Amuse Body kits, Fast Intentions Exhaust, or Twin Turbo, or Supercharger, etc., I could go on all day......it's cheap.

What did you expect from this crew? ;)

There was a recent thread on this subject. If the site's search won't find it, try Google/DuckDuckGo/et al and add "site:the370z.com" to you search string.

I bought a cheap "hoop" style (flip/twist it right and it collapses into a small disc) that works well in S AR heat and doesn't take a lot of space in storage. Probably won't last more than 5-6 years but it was cheap and does the job.

I know I know...I don't mind the banter its all good :-)

I trier the Walmart ones they are very flimsy and not hard enough. I did on my prior vehicles order from eBay from a seller in California that made them custom fit. They were approx 30 or dollars and were good. However I don't seem to think he's in business anymore.

That one wasn't old enough for Limeybastard to bump ;)

Fountainhead 06-25-2014 12:28 PM

Isn't there always a "prior" thread? I mean this forum has been around for at least 5 years, I think it's pretty much exhausted most any subject at least once. But I still keep coming around.

I bought one from Advance Auto, the accordion style one. I have seen the custom fit ones on EBay, so someone makes them still.

vegashound 06-25-2014 03:02 PM

This might be way too simplistic, but you do know that Nissan dealers sell screens that custom fit the 370. I don,t even have to hold them in with the visors.
