Replacing Nissan Emblems
I have reviewed some posts here, but not for a 2012 370Z. I know they are indented, which brings some concern when removing them. I would like to put om some Z donuts. Any Info will help. I hate the Nissan trade mark donuts and wish to do a little modding. Thanks in advance.

Heat the adhesive up with a heat gun and the emblems come right off. Youll probably need goo gone or some kind of cleaner to wipe off residual adhesive.

These will fit right into the indentations.
EVO-R INC. Nissan 370Z Z34 Z Emblem Front and Rear DIY section is a good place to search. http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...an-emblem.html |

Hi Mike :hello:
I used fishing line after an 800 mile drive in the Texas sun. Worked like a charm. Panel pry tools are indeed a great help. Frankly, the worst part is removing the adhesive left behind. I've still got adhesive left from when I removed the Nissan emblem almost two months ago (I sold it). I have the EVO-R Z emblem to install, but I've just been too busy/lazy to finish :ugh: |
Thanks
Thank you all for the input. I will try when I get the nerve. I'm so worried about marking the paint.
This is a excellent website to learn from good friendly people. :excited: |

Use 3M Adhesive Remover.
3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner Quart 08984 I just replaced my front emblem with the "Z" one from the ebay seller in the UK. The 3M stuff works great... been using it for many years. Won't hurt paint! |

YOU CAN DO IT :icon18:
Just follow the advice given on here and you'll be fine. I did mine in less than an hour. People at parking lots, gym... are always asking me how I did it |
All of the above and a little elbow grease and patience.

Don't be afraid, you cannot do anything that can't be fixed. As long as you take your time and only use plastic tools, everything will be ok.
