Rhino Liner or similar as chip guard?

Grabbed one of my old skirts and decided to give it a go and see if this is worth it. Scuffed up a small area, taped it off, gave it 3 coats with 5 minute wait in between, decided to use Duplicolor Truck Liner as that seems to not have that goop look to it. This is paintable once dry so could even give it a gloss look.

Just used regular pinstriping to create my line, didn't bleed underneath so line was nice.


Only 10 minutes after last coat and decided to remove tape, probably too early and still tacky, but you get the idea, 3 coats gave a nice build up but still somewhat smooth finish.
